"She's the sweetest one." __Maw Anna Mae

"She's the sweetest one." Maw used to say that about each one of the great grandchildren. Everyone would snicker when they heard her start the sentence. She always kept a straight face just as though it was this child that made the world go 'round.

I consider myself very fortunate to have gifted children. It has always given me such pleasure to watch them learn and grow. As a watch them, I often think of Maw's little sentence. Maw knew best.

Animation in Photoshop

My picture animation exercise in Photoshop. Learning a new program and testing my work. Always fun to learn new programs especially if they can be useful in other projects.

What Is Politically Correct?

While I was looking over my News Feed in Facebook this morning I noticed a 'friend' posted a picture of African children dancing in the street with the phrase "It's Friday niggas" written across the top. The phrase offended me so I looked to see who 'Liked' the image. Several of them were black. I am so confused. The person who posted the picture is white, but I would have been just as offended if she were black. It seems there are too many variables to know what is politically correct for today.

JT Plays at Fenway

Jon Thomas had a great experience at the All-Star Game. There was a great crowd and they really got involved in the game.

While in Cape Cod this summer JT was able to attend a Red Sox game . He said the Red Sox fans are awesome, and Fenway Park is really beautiful. He was really glad to have the opportunity to be a part of the excitement.

'Horrible Bosses' seen by horrible parent

Date Night with my daughter last night. I know, not appropriate movie for a minor, but I have no one else to go with me. My husband hates to spend money to see a movie. Man, he would have died last night--that movie cost $22.00, and we didn't buy anything but our tickets. Ouch! It was stupid funny, and we both enjoyed it. I had a nice time sharing a meal and a movie with my little girl so don't judge me.
